Holding it!

I have a hard time understanding Jack and his potty antics. He waits until the VERY very last second possible to dash to the bathroom where he then does this frantic dance to get his pants down in time. I'm not sure if he is just afraid he'll miss out on our exciting life or if it really doesn't register until it is the millisecond before disaster!

Me: "Jack where ya headed?"

Jack: "Nowhere."
Me: "Oh really, how 'bout we hit the bathroom dude?"
Jack: "Nah."
Me: "it really looks like you gotta go."
Jack: "Nah, I don't gotta go Mom."

This picture was taken after he finally broke down and went to the bathroom. He looks a little less tense, don't cha think?

Bringing back a flood of memories of you and your siblings!!!!
Ya, I think life is way more fun and too exciting to miss just to go to the bathroom. Actually, I have found moments of serenity there - until everyone finds out where I am!

I honestly love that kid. Every thing is so lax and layed back. Guess I better get my fam out for a little pumpkin excursion of our own so my blog can atleast acknowledge that we do go outside and the weather is changing. Looks like you had a great time. Oh and Tahiti is whenever you guys are ready. Just trying to squeeze in a few trips before we start getting fat again. Isn't this a fun cycle we've started, fat skinny, fat skinny?

What a cute kid. I know very well the plight of the boy and his potty. I think it has to do with the fact that they can't be bothered by the bathroom. Life it too busy to deal with bladders. So, they ignore it until they can't ignore it any more. Kind of like me and laundry. I know it's there. But, I can't be bothered until I'm desperate. I wonder how Jack and Scott would play. We'll have to get them together and see.

I think it's so funny when kids do that. Luckily I'm at a stage whenever I ask Kaitlyn if she has to go she gets so excited to sit on the toilet. However, I have an older sister who was like Jack and was always doing the pee pee dance all the way through highschool, and probably still does though she lives all the way in TX so I don't get to witness it everyday I'm pretty sure it still happens (esp in orange trees)

I am pretty sure everybodies kids do that and I absolutly love when they say after the whole ordeal " I didnt mean to pee my pants". And by the way when are we going to Tahiti? I am totally ready.

ok i LOVED the pics!!! and unfortunately, lydia is correct... that sister - she is a nut! at the er last night, she waited and waited till it was almost too late - then in desperation, she called a nurse over to watch her son and relieve herself!! sometimes it is just WAY TOO INCONVENIENT to take a potty break!
