The Hot Dogs

Jack & Elle finished ski school last month. They did so good! Olympics here we come!

After one of Jack's lessons we hit the slopes together. Probably not the best idea...since it had started snowing, he was tired, cold and had to go to the bathroom. I could tell he was about to lose it, so in all my "Positive Mom" power I began saying....

"Way to go Jack, you're such a HOT DOG!"
his whiny response:
"I'm not a HOT DOG...I'm just a BOY!"

catching some "air" off their favorite jump

The Magic Tree that gave out candy before they started down the slopes.

Proud Momacita's had some fun too!

How fun. Maybe next year for Kenlie. I think my parents started me too young and I didn't want to go from about 5-9 years old. Hopefully if I wait and time it so its warm weather she'll love it from the start. Looks like a fun day in the sun and snow. Great pictures.

Oh, my gosh. How fun is that? The kids looked like they had a good time. A few more play dates with Scott and Jack will learn that there is no potty panic time when there are trees that can hide you - granted he needs a zipper on his snow pants.

That was so fun. We need to go skiing again before the season is over. And for-sure we need to do that next year. That was so fun, I need a copy of our pictures, we look like ski-bunnies. Love it.

Having never snow-skiied or lived in snow myself, I am AMAZED at the fact that little kids can learn to ski so early & easily! It is SO COOL to see Jack skiing already! How fun :) I guess ski lessons there are a necessity like swim lessons here... ??

I think it's great that you got Jack started early. All his friends will be jealous in Jr. High when Jack is the best on the slope, and getting rad air on the jumps. What a hot dog! It's funny how kids don't like that kind of stuff I called Raegan a princess and she said "I'm just Raegan" to me.

How fun! Rich would love to get Evan out there on the slopes. I don't know how Evan would feel about it though...

Hi, hope you don't mind but I reference you (anonymously) on my blog, but you'll have to read it to see where. But I really was thinking of you, and how awesome you are! Not to mention talented!

That's great you have in lessons. I was his age when I started. I use to crash and burn, but I can't imagine falling down like that now! He says the funniest things. Make sure you write them all down!

A day at the slopes with friends sounds so nice!!! I am totally jealous! I used to ski all the time but since the kiddies came along I have slowed down like an old lady. I am lucky to walk to the park. Looks fun and you and Tami are so skinkin' cute. Great Pictures.
