Jack: "How 'bout you just say MAYBE?"
(side note: we aren't completely cruel you know...he has a few chores he has to do before he can play and somehow he couldn't put away the very toys he took out, so...the answer was NO all day!)

Hey, just MAYBE check out my old blog!!! I couldn't put away my stuff either.
Scott: "Can I have a chocolate thingy."
Me: "No, you had a snack already."
Repeat 100 times.
I love that he wants the maybe option - even if it ultimately is no. Send him over here for a bit of Wii time with Scott.
maybe I should try that with Dave and the x-box. J/K It is usually my girls trying to ask me if they can wear their dress up clothes to church.
Don't you wish they had that kind of persistance and motivation with other things in life!
It's amazing how persistent kids can be even when you say no a million times! Evan's thing is movies. He'll ask us over and over and over and just when we think we have him distracted enough that just might have forgotten, he asks again!
Awww, C'mon mom! Give the kid a little HOPE, would ya?? ;)
jack is hilarious...
I don't think cruel is the word to describe your parenting...he didn't even want a yes, all he asks is for some hope that someday he'll maybe get to play xbox. What a cutie!
that is cute...
So funny, and all too familiar! Poor guy! Let the kid play x-box.
Hey Jen,
I don't think I have your correct e-mail address so I'm leaving this as a comment. I wanted to get your opinion on a good camera to get. Our digital camera is 3 years old and already way outdated and I want to get a new one. I would love to get a fancy, professional one that takes awesome pictures, but of course they're probably a little out of our price range. Could you tell me what you think some good buys are for around $200-$250 dollars?

I need someone telling me that right now with the computer!
