Fraidy Cat Paint-baller

One of our New Years Resolution is for Date Night to be more than just dinner, a movie and some shopping. So thank you to Nate and Lacey for helping us start the New year off right, with a little hard core paint-balling. Only I wasn't really all that Hard CORE. I was just hard core freaked out of my mind! I probably asked the paint-ball workers a dozen times...so how bad is it gonna hurt?" "How big of a bruise will it leave?" "On a scale of 1-10...what is the pain like?" "What happens if I swallow some of the paint?" "Has anyone had to go to the ER after playing?" For someone who prides herself in having a decent amount of "toughness" I was sounding like an absolute PANSY! So with my 20 layers of clothing, ski hat and ski gloves on I decided to go for it. Anyway, we ended up having a great time. Happy Birthday NATE!

Oh my gosh Jen...you are crazy. Josh does that and I hate it. Mostly because I have no aiming capabilities and I usually end up getting pulverized and cant get anybody back. Good for you on spicing up your date life. Our goal is to have a date night. I love the title of you post...very creative.

Hey Jen, it's Angela your fellow paint-baller. I have a huge bruise on my arm- do you have any battle scars? This night is getting a lot of publicity- Lacey and I both posted about it too! You took some great pictures! Thanks! It was great meeting you and let us know if you want company on some of your adventurous dates.

Oh, and I'm bummed I missed you in CALI - but we go often so I'll have to tell you the next time we go or vice versa..

Wow, chica - sounds like fun. I've never done that but I've always wanted to. I'm proud of you for having the guts to do it knowing that it's painful. I used to do laser tag - a lot less painful.

That is awesome. We were going to go this friday while you tend our kids with a bunch of friends in the ward. Kind of ironic, but I think the temple might win out. The last time I went was the Junior prom. I was ticked that my date would take me there and have me show up at the prom like I'd been covered in hickeys, but after I got over that it was a great time and the welts made for good conversations pieces. Good for you guys. How fun!!

Thanks for coming Jenn! It was pretty funny that you were so worried about the pain! I should have layered up like you. Love the way you posted it! Any great ideas for the next creative date??

That looks like so much fun. Where did you guys go for that? Anthony would love that, he even has his own gear for paintballing. Next time we want to come.
