Ohhh The Joys of Motherhood

So first off I'd like to publicly thank my parents for the countless times they had to clean up my puke. I never had the best reputation for being able to hold my own (food down that is). It now seems that it is payback time. Puke is one of those disgusting tasks that no one should have to bare, clean up or smell. Unfortunately, there is this window of time where your children aren't quite old enough to have the sense to make it to the bathroom or clean up their own mess. Which leads me to last night.....Not once, not twice but three times Ted and I proceeded to strip Jack out of his puke infested clothes, clean him, change him, wash dirty sheets and put on new bedding. Ted, bless his heart would put the puke bowl by his bed each time thinking Jack would get the concept on the next go around. Sadly, the bowl stayed clean. So my sick little boy didn't quite make it to preschool this morning.
I found him here after a dose of Tylenol with codine.

The Sundance Kid

Yesterday Ted gave me a treat and watched Max so Carrie and I could take our boys skiing. The first run was a little rough for Jack. If you watch the video link you'll see what I'm talking about. If you listen REALLY carefully you can hear me bribe him with a treat if he stops crying.

Jack and Jason striking a pose
Callie came along to give Jason private snowboarding lessons By the end of the day Jack was ready to go and so was I

Grandpa's 1/2 Century Crisis

Today turned out to be the perfect day for a ride in
Dad's new HOT ROD!
We had so much fun cruising around the neighborhood.
Jack loved it but kept telling grandpa
he needed to slow down!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Jack loved Valentine's Day at preschool. I asked him what his favorite part of the day was and he said popcicles (ie lolipops) and chocolate!

Todays HIGH 34 degrees!

I'd say it's PRRRRFECT weather for biking. Well we finally made it out of the "teens" and all the kids just couldn't stand it any longer so out came the bikes. Going through slushy snow seemed to be the highlight among all the kids.

Forget the training wheels...Snow tires might be good.
Jack's back tire kept spinning around and around in the slush.
